What is HandOffAgent?
HandOffAgent indexes your codebase and gives your client one link where an AI answers their questions — grounded in the real source code, so your team stays out of the support inbox.
Is my source code safe?
Your code is indexed as embeddings inside your private workspace and is never used for model training. You control exactly what the AI may reveal: raw source, file paths, and how technical its answers are. You can exclude any path from indexing entirely.
How much does HandOffAgent cost?
Starter is $29/month (3 repositories, 2,000 AI messages). Pro is $49/month (10 repositories, 6,000 messages, full white-labelling, pay-as-you-go overages). Elite is $99/month (unlimited repositories, 18,000 messages, priority indexing). You can cancel anytime in one click.
Can I put my own brand on it?
Yes — on Pro and Elite you get full white-labelling: your logo, your accent color, your copy, a pinned light or dark theme, and the option to remove "Powered by HandOffAgent" completely. Clients only ever see your brand.
What happens when I hit my monthly message pool?
On Starter, gateways pause until the next cycle. On Pro and Elite you can enable pay-as-you-go overages ($0.005 and $0.003 per message respectively), so client links never go dark mid-launch.
Can I embed the chat in my own site or a client portal?
Yes. Every project gets a secure share URL that also works inside an iframe — drop it into your client dashboard, a Notion page, or the site you delivered. You can even hide the header for a pure chat canvas.
